Design by José Guadalupe Posada Aguilar (Aguascalientes, February 2, 1852 - Mexico City, January 20, 1913), a Mexican engraver, illustrator, and caricaturist. Celebrated for his drawings of traditional scenes, folklore, socio-political criticism, and his illustrations of "calacas" or skeletons.
With this notebook, you have a piece of Mexico in your hands.
All our notebooks are stitched with a sewing machine that is over 100 years old. We then supervise the stitching - notebook by notebook. Each notebook is unique.
We guarantee that after writing in one of these, you'll say "goodbye" to all other notebooks.
The death of Octavio Paz in 1998 was a significant event and left a void in the literary world. Paz was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1990 and left a lasting legacy in Mexican and international literature. The expression "How unfair is death!" highlights the feeling that death can seem unjust when it takes away such talented and valuable people.
Acquiring a hand-stitched notebook is more than a purchase; it is an investment in quality, art, and sustainability. It is a reminder that things made with love and dedication have invaluable worth in our daily lives.
